Come join our dynamic team of rehabilitation therapists at our active senior retirement communities located in Pensacola, FL. This opportunity will allow you to get the most out of your career as you:

  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Plan initial and subsequent treatment programs based on clinical findings.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
  • Treat residents one on one, not in a group type setting, so each patient get individualized attention. Private treatment sessions, functional based treatment approach. You have the ability to individualize treatment sessions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Interpersonal

  • Effectively uses basic communication skills of listening, questioning, verifying, and explaining.
  • Able to create rapport and positive working relationship with key facility personnel and fellow LHS employees that allows for discovering others’ needs.
  • Meets with customers regularly to share information and relay Legacy’s offerings in the community.
  • Seeks advice from LHS management to respond appropriately and timely to inquiries for assistance from facility personnel and LHS employees.
  • Joins a culture of world-class talent
  • Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics in accordance with LHS policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Clinical SLP background with an appropriate degree in the field.
  • Preferred experience in Long Term Care (LTC), Rehab Agency, home healthcare, or outpatient setting.
  • Must have comfort with learning new computer skills.
  • An active Florida license.
